“Give them pleasure. The same pleasure they have when they wake up from a nightmare.”

The title of this blog post comes from the late, great Alfred Hitchcock.
It really fit for what I am about to discuss.

Ahhh I love them.
They’re great for any occasion.
Watch a comedy.
Literally any genre will do.
Is it around some sort of holiday?
Great!  Pick the holiday and we’ve got the genre.

Thankfully I married a man that also loves them or else I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.

I have a lot of movies –
Literally all kinds of different ones.
There is no system to my movie buying – if I like it, I buy it.
Now – I do put my movies up in a certain order like blu-ray first and then movie series, then musicals and then every other movie alphabetized, but that’s just so I can find them quicker and NOT ocd at all.
Or at least that’s what I am telling myself.
Some have been lost or broken or kidnapped and when it comes to all kinds of genres I have a little bit of everything.
When we got married Eric added like, I don’t know, 4 movies to the collection.
The rest were mine.
Allllllll mine.

Sunday’s are always for relaxing (and laundry) and normally binge watching things or zombies, but today our focus is on one genre only.

This doesn’t include all the Scream movies we have on blu-ray or the paranormal activity on blu-ray either.
Eric had to make some decisions on what he wanted to watch, we narrowed it down to these and then didn’t watch any of them.
We rented ‘House of Wax‘ on Amazon Prime instead.
We suck at picking movies.
It’s such a commitment so we go with what we know.
And we know House of Wax.
It’s a classic and also you can’t go wrong with it.
Not any time.

So we’re about to eat pizza and wings, watch a scary movie in the dark and re-load the washer/dryer.
Ahhh adulthood – sometimes you rule.
