I remember singing that song in school when I was younger.
You know, when music class was mandatory and we would put on shows each holiday.
That’s all I remember from the song, but, at least I remember something from that long ago.
It’s a catchy tune AND it teaches you how to spell Halloween, so, win win right?
Kind of like that one song by Weebie “Independent” that it spells out independent for you.
Who needs school when you can learn how to spell from rap music and songs about Halloween?
Spelling class is all around folks!
Take advantage of it. Ha!
Now back to the point..
Halloween is a glorious time.
The decorations, the candy, putting on a costume as an adult and calling it a “costume party” when really all it is is a few of your closest friends/family drinking beer in your garage dressed up as your favorite super heroes/tv show characters.
I love it.
I also love pumpkin seeds… I even made some last night…
BUT THAT’S IT!
That’s the only pumpkin anything I like so don’t try to force your spiced lattes down my throat, I don’t want it.
I want the candy (because it’s acceptable to eat candy a lot now and not be judged for it), I want the decorations all over my house/outside, and I want to dress up like Black Widow and it not be a big deal.
I also want the scary movies.
Not TOO scary, but, just enough to make me think I need to watch an episode of Care Bears before bed.
I am a fan of original scary movies though, unlike my husband who is down with the new stuff.
I love the original Halloween the most but Nightmare on Elm Street is my second favorite.
The new ones just don’t do it for me like the old ones do.
The creepyness of no CGI is what scares me the most.
Like, there’s Michael Myers standing by that tree just staring at you waiting to pounce and no matter how fast you run he will be right there about to get your ass.
I love Halloween.
H-A-Double L-O-W-Double E-N Spells HALLOWEEN!
So go get your decorations, go get your candy, put on your costumes and let’s have a ball!
This year I am going to be Black Widow and my husband will be Captain America.
We’re going to fight crime and be cool.
What about you? What’s your costume idea’s?
Drop me some comments and let me know!
